Application:
At a max. load of 1/3 F, the whip stock can be adjusted slightly using normal manual force. The fine-machined wedge surfaces permits a smooth, precise adjustment to less than 1/10 mm. The double wedge effect produces a large stroke and precise vertical movement with no lateral shift. The height wedge proves its worth with heavy castings or forgings on large tool machines. The AMF "Herkules" whipstock has an additional centering hole in the floor of the base area. This enables the whipstock to be mounted on "heavy screw jacks". A DIN 6325 12x30 cylinder pin is required for this purpose.
